One of the most beautiful experiences in Guangzhou is being able to go into a Cat Street-esque place called Tianhe Fashion Mall. To me, that’s the closest I’ll ever get to seeing beautiful and trendy outfits similar to Cat Street in nice stores and not on the internet at the moment. Ahh, so many beautiful clothes… and aaack, crappy photo. OTL
I took photos of the clothes I like. Ah, many nice clothes that wouldn’t fit me. /sob Here they are!
My best find is this mori-kei and dolly-kei store called Ole-y. I spazzed and died. I actually bought one thing from their store. XD
My sister explained this trend in classic looks — pleated skirts with blouses tucked in and the jumper skirts. These are, in her opinion, inspired by Meghan Trainor’s main outfit in ‘All About That Bass’ music video. I think there is another trend going around and about because I find that overall look a classic; women can’t pass off a clean look such as a blouse and a skirt, may it be pleated, A-line, or pencil. (Your thoughts, though?)
I would definitely love to go back to this mall. It is actually a big underground mall where big brands like Yishion have more than one shop. I would need to bring a map next time in order to do pilgrimage to ALL the nice stores in this place. Whoo.
